“An Evening with Paul Hudson”

Advance booking essential.

SOLD OUT!

For this special Elm Gallery evening event we are delighted to welcome BBC Look North’s “Paul the weatherman” who will be dashing from the Look North studios at 7pm to come and talk to us on the moorside at 8pm.

Paul is undoubtedly one of the most popular characters on local BBC television (despite what Harry and Christa might say) and he’ll here to tell us about both the serious and the humorous side of being of a weatherman.

Paul will be selling some of his excellent books after the event and will be signing them, so take this opportunity of getting a really special gift for someone!

Paul was born and brought up in Keighley, attending the Bronte Middle School and Oakbank School.

He also used to play golf at Riddlesden and cricket for Ingrow St Johns in the Craven League (so he obviously has strong local roots) and is a passionate Bradford City fan.

After graduating with a 1st class degree in Geophysics and Planetary Physics from Newcastle University, Paul worked for the Met Office in Bracknell as an international forecaster before joining BBC Look North as a weather presenter.

Paul is an environmental and climate change expert with strong, and sometimes controversial, opinions on the subject.

In May 2006 Paul was made honorary Mayor of Wetwang, a post previously held by Richard Whiteley.

Refreshments will be on sale, both before and after Paul’s talk.

For this event, Liz will be baking cakes with a weather theme!
