Starting on the 16th January 2012, one of the approach roads to the gallery (Turner Lane) will be closed for 8 weeks for essential roadworks. If you are coming to the gallery from Ilkley on the A65, turn left up Cocking Lane and after 1.25 miles, you reach a crossroads, where you turn left for the gallery. From the Skipton direction, when you get to the Addingham roundabout, turn right towards Silsden and keep going until you start going downhill towards Silsden. There is a road on the left - Brown Bank Lane - turn up this road and continue until you reach a crossroads at the top, where you turn right for the gallery. The route from Silsden is unaffected by the road closure and is via Brown Bank Lane. |
